Today was the big day! We got up early and started getting everyone ready for the christening. We somehow managed to finish setting up for the party; bathe, feed and change 3 babies; and get ourselves ready. It was a beautiful day so we walked to the church. Jack and Patrick were absolutely gorgeous in their christening gowns! I can honestly say that I’ve never seen two more handsome boys! The ceremony was beautiful despite the fact that Jack and Patrick were anxious for it to be over.
After the ceremony we walked back to the house and had a great party. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! We ate, drank and laughed the afternoon away.
After the party, Kristi, Ashley and I got the boys settled and took everything down. Once the boys were all asleep, Kristi and I left them with the world’s BEST baby-sitter, Ashley. Ashley was amazing the entire weekend. I don’t think Kristi and I could have done a quarter of the stuff we did had Ashley not been there helping out with the children! Ashley, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU! Kristi and I walked over to the theatre and watched the scariest movie we had ever seen – “The Others”. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t watch it alone!
After the movie we headed home and literally stayed up all night playing on the computer and talking. Our heads didn’t hit the pillows until after 4:30am! After a quick nap, we got up to go to the airport.
