We all piled in the car and headed down to Miami to see Grandma, Uncle Lance, Cousin Jeff and Cousin Miriam. As usual, the ride down was a lot better than the ride back home. The whole way down the boys were excited about seeing everyone and were curious about all the sights. On the way home they just wanted out of the car!
The visit was wonderful although it was too short! Grandma seemed in good spirits and loved having lots of kids running around the apartment. Carter was a little chatter box (what’s new) and made a “present for Grandma” out of his Legos. Nathan was very quiet until we all started posing for the family picture – after two pictures were taken, he proudly yelled “try it again”. Andrew just wanted to eat and sleep and Miriam was the life of the party. She was rolling all over the place and just giggling her head off. She couldn’t get enough of Andrew and like I mentioned before he couldn’t get enough food!
I have to admit that I wasn’t my usual picture-taking-self. Jeff got some great shots of all the kids playing so you’ll have to wait until I get a copy to see those! Good things come to those who wait! 🙂
