Today was a sad yet happy day. Two years ago today we lost my wonderful mother. I can’t think of a better way to drown our sorrows than spending the day at the beach. Unfortunately the memories of the beach will last a little longer than we expected – we all got burnt pretty bad. Fortunately none of the children got burned! Makes you wonder why we were able to cover them so well and not ourselves! All in all it was a fun day and I think Andrew really enjoyed his first trip to the ocean.
