What an incredible yet horrible first Mother’s Day this was. For starters John got up early with the boys so I could sleep late (he’s the best). Then he went and got me McDonald’s for breakfast (yummy). Then he and the boys gave me the most beautiful present. It’s a baby boy bootie charm and a necklace. It’s gold with little diamonds for shoelaces. It’s so beautiful! Next we ate a picnic lunch down by the spring and went to get Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert (yummy). To top it off we ate dinner at the Crab House. What a perfect first Mother’s Day!
The really horrible part was dad called and said mom is back in the hospital. She has a large tumor behind her right eye which has severed the optic nerve. She’ll never regain sight in that eye again. We’re all devastated!
