What a wonderful “girls & babies” weekend we had. I met a very good internet friend and her son for the first time. Eva lives in Texas but we met in Jacksonville and stayed the weekend at the ocean. We had a blast hanging out at the ocean and playing with babies. Michael had never seen the ocean before and just loved having the water splash on him. The boys aren’t too crazy about the ocean as I think it scares them but they had a wonderful time floating in the pool.
The boys seemed to enjoy being with Michael but I think Carter was a little more “in tuned”. Whenever Michael would start crying Carter would try to hand him his pacifier and then would pat or rub Michael’s arm as if to say everything would be okay. Carter is so sensitive to other babies crying (especially Nathan). It’s the sweetest thing in the world to watch.
