Carter & Naomi: 12 years old
Andrew: 10 years old
Marshall: 6 years old
We have started a new tradition of taking the kids camping and ringing in the new year under the stars. We spent the day chopping wood and going on nature hikes. It gets dark early in the woods so we all retreated to our tents (me with Carter, Nathan, Andrew and Emily and CW with Jacob and Collin). Everyone fell asleep except Carter and I but we were all too happy to wake everyone up just before the stroke of midnight. Then it reminded me of a scene from the Waltons were everyone says goodnight. We were all shouting through the tents saying Happy New Year to each other and then we all rolled over and went to sleep!
