Emily and I dressed up to go to work. I dressed up as a nurse (since that’s what I’ve been for 7 weeks) and she dressed up as a vampiress (and was a really cute one). We went trick-or-treating with Damarre, Alex and Carlos. We went to the housing development behind our apartments for 2 hours. I think we got more candy than all years combined! I decided that was too much walking for Emily so I pushed her in the wheelchair. I can’t believe how unfriendly the sidewalks are. In fact, I have been surprised how un-wheelchair friendly most places are. I know that businesses are supposed to be wheelchair compliant but I honestly don’t know how some of them pass inspection (if there is an inspection). Carter and Nathan didn’t want to dress up this year so they stayed with John and passed out candy. Surprisingly, they said only 4 groups of kids came by.
