Carter and Nathan start 7th grade!

Every year I talk about how amazed I am at what grade the children are in and this year is no exception.  Can Carter and Nathan really be starting 7th grade?  I can remember vividly being in 7th grade – how can I have 7th graders?  The boys were excited and were up and raring to go.  I felt bad for them having to carry all of their supplies in their backpacks and it turns out they ended up lugging them all day because they won’t get lockers until next week.  Carter and Nathan had VERY different first days.  Nathan had a wonderful day and had friends in every class except one.  Carter only had friends in one class, his schedule is a wreck and he has the last lunch which is after 1:00!!!!!
