4 wheeling in Ocala National Forest

We were in true vacation mode and slept until 10:00.  We lazily got up and had hot cinnamon rolls for “brunch”.  Then we sat around talking with Mike and Sandy.  When it was time for lunch, Sandy and I took the Ez-Go down to the community center and bought delicious hamburgers.  After our lunch was settled, CW and I took the 4 wheelers out into the forest.  We only rode for an hour because the heat index was well over 100 and we were exhausted from the heat.  We took ice cold showers and then sat around chatting for the rest of the evening.  Rodney, Nancy & Samuel joined our “party” a little before dinner time.  It was a great day and I’m so glad that we decided to do this instead of doing laundry!  🙂

The following picture was taken this morning.  I love how the sun bathes the picnic table.  Hopefully it conveys the peacefulness of our visit to Hog Valley.
