We had a fantastic Christmas this year filled with PSP’s, a book reader, new bike, scooter, Barbies, airhogs, XBox Kinect, Nerf guns and a whole lot more! This year Santa decided to make the gifts even more fun. After the smaller gifts, the kids had to go on a treasure hunt to find their big presents. There were clues under the tree, in the pantry, in the kids’ bathroom and in the master closet. One clue got the kids started and then each of the children had to solve a riddle to find their own present. It was great and the children said it was their favorite part of Christmas! It melted my heart to hear they enjoy the hunt more than the material presents! 🙂
While the kids were spending the afternoon with dad, CW went to pick up Collin and Jacob. I wish they could have been with us this morning as it would be great having all 6 of the children opening presents but I’m glad they were able to spend the morning with their mom. After we opened presents with Collin and Jacob, we went to pick up Carter, Nathan, Andrew and Emily and head over to Marcia’s house for Christmas dinner and more presents. By the time the day was over, we were swimming in gift wrap and news toys!
Okay, I went a little crazy with the photos this year but there was too many cute photos not to share! Give me some credit, when I first started sorting, I picked out 87 of the best (out of 277 total) and I was able to whittle it down to 34 of the best of the best! 🙂
