I finally got to see dad today! Kelley and I took turns watching all four children so we could each spend roughly two hours with dad. He looked great and was in high spirits. The exhaustion is getting to him but he seems to be handling it beautifully. The doctors are impressed with his recovery and are confident that he’ll be home in his own bed on Tuesday! I’ve never seen anyone undergo such an intensive surgery and I have to say that I’m extremely proud of how dad is handling everything. He is a true trooper!
