Unfortunately, I didn’t get to visit with dad today. Andrew has a bad case of diarrhea and I was nervous that he might pass something on to dad. I did get to speak with him several times on the phone and although he’s exhausted he is doing great. He’s been sitting up in the chair most of the day and has walked a little bit. He broke records with his surgery and is now trying to break records with his recovery!
Since I didn’t go up to the hospital, I spent the day doing mundane things like laundry, dishes, cleaning out the car, etc. The highlight of my day was spending about 2 hours with my Aunt Becky and Uncle Lynn. They drove down from Morristown to see dad and stopped by to see all the grandchildren. This was the first time she’s seen Mason and as with all of us, it was love at first sight!
