I took Carter to see Miss Julie today to see if she could even out the haircut that he gave himself. Unfortunately, the only way to make it look halfway presentable was to do an ‘army’ cut. Now Andrew’s hair is longer than Carter’s! Carter was fine with Miss Julie shaving it all off and really seemed to like his new short hairdo. When we got home I asked him if he wanted to look at his haircut in the mirror and he got all excited and said “yeah” and hurried off to the mirror. A few seconds later he returns with his head hung low and says “my hair don’t look so good”. It was pitiful! I asked him again if he was ever going to cut his own hair and he replied: “only Miss Julie cuts my hair”. It was a hard lesson to learn but hopefully, he learned it on the first go-around!
I had hoped that the rest of the afternoon would be uneventful but I wasn’t so lucky. At 4:45 pm I learned that the boys are doing a program at school for Purim and that they are supposed to dress up like kings! So the boys and I made a mad dash to the craft store to get stuff to make a cape and crown. I’ll have pictures for you tomorrow and you can be the judge of my first attempt at making a costume!
Great computer news! I bought a new one! I had it custom made by Dell and it should be here in about two weeks! So no more missed days of pictures due to computer problems!!!!!!!
