The surgery on Monday went very well and the doctor was pleased with what he found. The biopsy results aren’t in yet but he said there was absolutely no evidence that the tissue was anything other than adenoid tissue – WHEW!
The boys did great at Miss Susan’s although Andrew seemed to have a real rough time of it. At first I thought it was just because he is still nursing and missed his mommy but he started running a fever. So, after John brought me home from the hospital on Monday he went and picked up the boys and hauled them to the pediatrician’s office. Turns out Andrew had a double ear infection! Everything else checked out okay and he’s now weighing in at 20lbs 11.5oz! Ironic – both mommy and son are on the same antibiotic!
Now we move forward with surgery number two! I’ve been having problems with my c-section for the last 11 months so this coming Tuesday they are going to do a laparotomy to see if they can find out what is causing so much pain. Unfortunately, this one won’t be day surgery and I’ll be in the hospital 2-3 days. Poor John is going to be a single dad for another week!
As you can imagine, I haven’t taken many pictures but I wanted to share Andrew’s 11 month picture. Can you believe in 2 more days Carter and Nathan will be 3 years old and in less than a month Andrew will be a year old?!?!?!? WOW!
