After many years of planning and designing and hunting for the right artist, I finally started the memorial tattoo for my mom today. It’s being done by Cortni West and so far, she’s doing AMAZING work! The entire piece will be a bird on each hip to represent my mother’s love for bird watching and in the middle will be daylilies to represent the garden and daylilies that my mom grew.
