Strange email

I received a strange email from a guy claiming to be my IT3006 instructor.  He was concerned about me because we have been in class for a week and I haven’t posted any discussions or assignments which are all late at this point.  I shared with him the conversation with the enrollment office and he agreed that I should talk with an academic advisor to make sure going forward was the right choice given the fact that I missed orientation week and then essentially the first week of class.
