Emily’s troop had their first meeting today. They were thrilled to see Emily and I was thrilled to see so many girls that I knew. We knew Sara, Lily and Delanie from the preschool. In fact, I know our troop leader from the preschool as well. Emily wasn’t on her best behavior as she was shy and nervous about seeing everyone and having them ask so many questions. Once the meeting was over, she warmed up to the girls and started opening up. It was such a wonderful sight to see.
When we got home, Demarre and Alex came over to play with Andrew and Emily. Demarre and Andrew played football in the rain and Alex played with Emily in her room. After Demarre and Alex left, Trinity and Veronica came over while their parents went to open house. We also had Carter, Nathan, Collin and Jacob. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it was to have 8 children laughing and playing in the apartment. I love having a house full of kids, especially when they are all getting along! 🙂
