We say goodbye to Andy Trattner

The father of one of Carter and Nathan’s former classmates passed away in his sleep last Wednesday and the funeral was today.  I didn’t know Andy very well but I was close with his wife Joanne and their son Jonathan.  I can’t imagine losing a parent at such a young age.  Joanne, Jonathan …. you’re in our thoughts and prayers!

I wasn’t able to go to the funeral but John took Carter and Nathan.  It was a sad occasion but they said it was good to see their old classmates.  I hate that it takes funerals or weddings for people to get together – why can’t we just have get togethers?  🙁
