Upon first glance at the photo below, one might think that I happened to catch Emily in a fit. Instead, this is a photo for our friend Jose who the security guard at the History Center where Andrew & Emily went to camp. I’m not sure how it all got started, but Emily started “growling” at Jose almost from day one. He was amazing at encouraging her to make scary faces. By the end of the summer, Emily and Jose formed quite a friendship. So, as a surprise on the last day of camp, I took a picture of Emily “growling” and made a thank you card for Jose with this picture on the front. He absolutely loved the card!
