Bring your children to work day!

I missed out on the “bring your kids to work” day so I made today that day!  Andrew and Emily were scheduled to meet their teachers today so I was going to leave work at noon to go to the open house.  Since it was a short day AND since I needed to take them to their new school, I asked if I could bring them to work and got a joyous “yes” in return.  Andrew and Emily did great.  The only incident was when Emily bent over to pick up something she hit the bridge of her nose on the edge of my desk.  She hit so hard the entire office heard the “thud”.  I thought for sure she would be black and blue and screaming bloody murder but she was a trooper.  She cried a little and then it was over.  She’s got one tough noggin!
