What a busy and fun day we had. Patrick and Alex spent the day with us while Miss Susan is out of town visiting her ill grandmother. We had lunch at McDonald’s which included a good hour of eating/playing. We then went to the Science Center where we hit every exhibit in the building! I’m really not sure who was more tired, the boys or mommy! I’m sure none of us will have trouble sleeping tonight!
We visited with Mr. Mark for a while when we dropped off Patrick and Alex and then headed to daddy’s office to pick him up for dinner. Daddy, being the good samaritan that he is, had tried to jump-start the battery of a stranded motorist. In doing so, he killed his own battery. So, mommy to the rescue. I showed up in my Big Bad Mama Mobile and jump-started both of them (AAA has nothing compared to me! ) After getting everyone on the road again, we went to dinner where it was kids’ night. They had clowns, balloons, and face painting. Even daddy got in on the action!
