Carter and Nathan dressed up like King Ahasuerus in celebration of Purim. The outfits I made in such short notice turned out wonderfully (if I do say so myself). The teachers at school put on a little skit depicting the story of Purim and all the children (and parents) had a wonderful time! After the play, the children went back to their classrooms and made their own hamantaschen (cookies). After school, the boys and I had a quick bite of lunch and then headed to Miss Susan’s house where we rode bikes and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
