Nothing real exciting happened this weekend. Yesterday Carter and I went to the beauty salon and I had my nails done and he got a haircut. Afterwards we went shopping and bought some Legos! Today Nathan and I went shopping and then we all went out to eat. Told you – REAL exciting stuff huh?
Cute Story:
The highchairs we had for Carter and Nathan came with a cotton cover. I decided that I would be washing it WAY too much so we just sat the boys on the vinyl padding and never used the cotton cover. After 2 years of wear and tear the vinyl padding has gotten really messed up. I hadn’t had a chance to replace the padding, so when Andrew was ready for the highchair I just threw the cotton cover over top. Carter and Nathan from day 1 would say “baby’s highchair”. I thought I had miraculously skirted the jealousy issue of Andrew using “their highchairs”. Well, today Nathan and I were in the kitchen and Nathan lifts up the cotton cover and exclaims: “Hey! That’s not baby’s highchair – that’s the boys’ highchair!”. I was busted and my secret was out of the bag!!!
