Andrew had his 2 month check-up with the pediatrician and passed with flying colors! He weighs 12½ lbs. and is 24″ long! That puts him in the 90 percentile for height and 75 percentile for weight. It feels so strange having a 12½ pound baby that can’t sit up! The boys were nearly 4 months old before they weighed this much! Developmentally Andrew is right on target – he’s smiling and cooing and has really good head control.

Cute stories:

1. This morning I heard Carter on the monitor and he said….. “Mommy, Mommy (pause), Daddy, Daddy (pause), Na-na, Na-na (pause), Mommy, Daddy, Na-na sleeping!”
2. I bought the boys new shoes this afternoon and Nathan tripped on the carpet and said “bad shoes”.
3. Nathan begged me to “hold baby” so I sat him on the couch and put Andrew in his lap. He kept repeating “Na-na hold baby”. All of the sudden Andrew reached up and touched Nathan’s face and Nathan got a panicked look on his face and said “Mommy’s turn”
