The boys had a wonderful day in school. Ms. Baeten and Ms. Brown said that Carter is talking more than ever and is repeating just about anything you say. He’s also pointing to everything and wanting to know what it is. Today was the first day the class went to the “big” playground where the 3 year olds play. There is a car on the playground and Nathan didn’t seem to mind that there were 3 year olds playing on it. He went in there full force and claimed the car as “his”! The teachers thought it was hysterical how he wasn’t intimidated by older children.
I don’t have it on tape (yet) but the boys have added the following words to their vocabulary: bubbles, sky, up, down, Mahmoud (their uncle), Kelley (their aunt), poppy (their grandpa), potty, pee and flush. Can you tell by the latter words that we’re trying to introduce potty training?
