HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Thanksgiving was wonderful and definitely interesting!  I was supposed to cook the turkey dinner the night before.  Well as luck would have it, the boys were extremely demanding and I got the turkey in the oven quite late.  It didn’t end up getting done until 4:00am Thanksgiving morning.  By the time I finished cooking the sweet potatoes I didn’t get to bed until 5:00am.  We got up at 9:00 and were out of the door heading to Miami.  Only one small problem — I had decided to clean out the car for the trip while the sweet potatoes were cooking and I left one of the car lights on — you guessed it — our battery was DEAD!  So out come the jumper cables and we’re off for our 4 hour trip to Miami.  Wouldn’t you know it, it rained almost the entire way down.  Once we got to Miami everything was perfect.  The boys absolutely adore Grandma and had a blast trying to walk with her walker.   They each had turkey, sweet potatoes and dressing for the first time and absolutely LOVED it!  In fact Nathan would bang on the highchair if you didn’t feed him the sweet potatoes fast enough.  We got home around midnight and other than being totally exhausted it was an incredibly happy Thanksgiving.  We have a lot to be thankful for.   I can’t imagine being more blessed than we already are!
