Carter & Nathan had their first pediatrician visit today and everything is perfect. Nathan isn’t eating as well as we would like but he still gained 7 oz in just 4 days so the doctor is very pleased. Carter is doing much better at breast feeding but is still being supplemented with a bottle of breast milk. Nathan on the other hand still doesn’t quite get the concept of breast feeding but at least he is still getting the benefits of breast milk in a bottle. Carter is almost back to his birth weight and weighs 4 lbs 13 oz. Nathan is exactly at his birth weight at 4 lbs 8 oz. It’s still hard to look at them and imagine them inside me.
John and I are still on cloud 9 and are in total shock that we have 2 perfect, healthy and beautiful babies. We just feel so incredibly blessed!
